An already installed WebViewer can be activated via our License Activator (ViewStationActivator.exe). This file is located in the root directory of the WebViewer. If the License Activator is not present in this directory, your version of WebViewer does not yet support activations.
Follow the steps below to activate your license:
▪Start the License Activator.
▪Enter your license key in the Activation key input field.
▪Click on [Open].
If we cannot/are not allowed to communicate with our license server from your WebViewer server, then this can lead to the following problems:
▪The WebViewer server is disconnected from the Internet: An attempt is made to access our activation page in the default browser. Copy this link into a browser with internet connection. The activation of the server can now be completed here.
▪The server has an Internet connection, but the License Activator is not allowed to communicate out of your network: Here our website is opened for activation in the default browser. If the homepage is blocked as well, you need to follow the instructions from the previous point.
▪Activation was successful, but no license was downloaded: Click the [Download] button in the ViewStationActivator. If the download fails again, a website will open to download your license.
Note: Before you can change the server, you need to contact our licensing team.
