Operation with Touch Gestures

This functionality is available from version 2024.8.

On a suitable device, you can operate 3DViewStation using other Windows touch gestures in addition to normal tapping on the touch surface. Below are some basic examples:

Move

Touch the touch surface with two fingers at the same time.

Move both fingers back and forth evenly while touching the touch surface.

Zoom in/out (pinch-to-zoom)

Place two fingers next to each other on the touch surface.

Zoom in: Move your fingers away from each other while touching the touch surface.

Zoom out: Move your fingers towards each other while touching the touch surface.

Rotate

Touch the touch surface with two fingers in succession.

Move both fingers back and forth evenly while touching the touch surface.

Right-click (press and hold)

Touch the touch surface with one finger and then hold your finger in this position.

This opens the context menu. This gesture corresponds to a right-click with the mouse.

To be able to use the touch gestures, the following system requirements apply:

Devices with multi-touch support (touchpad/touchscreen)

Windows 10

4 GB RAM
