To update the VS License Manager, proceed as follows:

▪Download the latest VS License Manager ZIP archive.

▪Stop the running VS License Manager.

▪If the VS License Manager is running as a Windows service, you can stop it using the windows_service_stop.bat file or via the Windows Services window.

▪Move the contents of the ZIP archive to the installation directory of the VS License Manager.

▪Replace all existing files.

Note: If not all files can be replaced, the VS License Manager may not have been stopped completely.

In this case, check whether the service is still running. Also check in the Task Manager whether a process named VSLM.exe is still running.

▪Restart the VS License Manager.

▪If it is running as a Windows service, you can start it using the windows_service_start.bat file or via the Windows Services window.

▪The update of the VS License Manager is now complete.
